At VeltroBay, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what we
collect and why.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you place an order:
- Name and address (for shipping)
- Email address (for order updates)
- Phone number
- Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider —
we never see or store your card number)
- The name you ask us to print on your blanket
When you browse our site:
- Your IP address, browser and device type
- Which pages you viewed and how you reached us
This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
THE NAME YOU PROVIDE
The name you type at checkout is used only to print your blanket. We
do not sell it or share it with advertisers.
We keep it on file with your order so we can reprint your blanket if
it is ever damaged or incorrect. Ask us to delete it and we will.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To fulfil your order
- To email you order confirmations and tracking
- To answer your questions
- To prevent fraud
- To understand how our site is used and improve it
- To show relevant advertising, where you have consented
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We share only what is necessary, with:
- Shopify, which hosts this store
- Printify and its production partners, who print and ship your
blanket
- Our payment provider
- Shipping carriers
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising and measurement.
This is done both through the Meta Pixel in your browser and
directly from our store's servers using Meta's Conversions API,
where you have consented
We never sell your personal information to third parties.
COOKIES
We use cookies to keep your cart working, to understand how the site
is used, and for advertising. You can control cookies through your
browser settings.
If you are in a region where consent is required, you will see a
cookie notice when you first visit, and you can change your choice at
any time.
ADVERTISING AND MEASUREMENT
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure whether
our advertising works and to show our products to people who may be
interested.
Some of this information is sent directly from our servers rather
than from your browser, which means blocking cookies does not always
stop it. You can control what Meta does with this data through your
Off-Facebook Activity settings, or contact us and we will stop it
from our side.
Information shared includes pages viewed, items added to cart, and
purchases, along with a hashed (scrambled) version of your email
address so Meta can match the activity to an account. A hashed
address cannot be read back into your real email address.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may ask us to:
- send you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information
- stop sending you marketing
- stop sharing your information with advertising platforms
Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
If you live in California, you have the right to know what we
collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sharing of your
personal information for advertising.
We do not sell personal information. We do share limited activity
data with Meta for advertising, as described above, and you may opt
out of this at any time by emailing us.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep order information, including the name printed on your
blanket, for as long as needed to support your order and to meet our
record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete it sooner.
SECURITY
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information.
CHILDREN
Our store is not intended for anyone under 16.
